Solution

Our client had projects to be done, an aging IT infrastructure and needed their business systems to be fault tolerant and recoverable. They recognized that having a technology strategy and portfolio plan was an important first step. C/D/H developed a technology strategy that included server virtualization, storage area network, and redesigned backup/recovery system. In addition, C/D/H developed a strategic plan for accomplishing the IT project work with high level project plans, resource allocation and project timelines.

Need

The client needed assistance in developing a strategy for addressing the long list of IT related projects that their organization had presented them while considering how to update their aging IT infrastructure.

Assessment

Because of the strategic planning engagement with C/D/H, the CIO was able to prioritize and budget for the needed projects and he understood the strategic roadmap that would take the organization there.
