Provide project management to ensure a successful Windows XP desktop upgrade project - on time and on budget.
Solution
C/D/H’s project management team worked closely with the hospital’s management and IT staff to design and implement an effective project approach. The team upgraded every workstation in the enterprise from Windows 95 to Windows XP. C/D/H project managers supervised deployment of over 1,100 upgrades to workstations in 22 clinical locations. Project scope ranged from certification of over 400 applications in the new Windows XP environment to coordination of end-user training and scheduling of individual desktop upgrades.
