National manufacturing firm required upgrade of desktop management system with updates for mobile device management.
Solution
C/D/H designed and implemented an upgrade of the ZENworks Management Suite with a new implementation of Handheld Management and Asset Management components. Using existing policies and images, validated functionality with existing Windows desktops and thin client servers. Integrated more than two dozen handheld devices into ZHM infrastructure.
Assessment
Client maintained existing functionality while introducing updated support for Windows XP and handheld devices. Improve tracking and management of resources resulted in increased time for technical staff to spend on other tasks, including end user support and issue resolution.
