E-Discovery: Managing Your Electronic Documents

On March 29th, C/D/H in partnership with Warner Norcross & Judd LLP hosted an informational “Webinar” on managing your electronic documents.

The U.S. Supreme Court recently amended the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure to deal with the issue of electronic discovery. Although these new rules do not drastically change your existing obligations, they do put into place specific requirements related to the discovery of electronic evidence, such as e-mail, IM, as well as the myriad of other documents you produce on a daily basis.

Ed Bardelli, a partner with the law firm Warner, Norcross, and Judd, LLP presented the various regulations and discussed the legal ramifications.

Doug Lindhout, a partner with the technology consulting firm C/D/H, presented the IT perspective of the impact of these new regulations and provided the template of a plan you can use to prepare your business for an adequate response to an electronic discovery requirement.
