ZENworks: A New Architecture

Doug Lindhout, MCNE, MCSD, C/D/H Partner and Director of Client Services, provided some interesting and valuable insight into the ZENworks product family to an audience of technical professionals from the academic community.

Doug provided some compare/contrast between the architectures of the now legacy ZENworks suite and the new Brimstone architecture utilized by the new ZENworks Configuration Management (ZCM) product. Doug also dug into some of the details behind what Novell is hoping to accomplish with ZCM as well as explored some of the interesting product features and functions, sharing war stories from his long history of ZENworks product-related project experiences that set the stage for how your professional life will be made better with the new version.
