C/D/H Brings Diversity, Experience to Board with Three New Directors

Grand Rapids, MI—C/D/H, a leading Michigan information technology consulting firm, today announced the selection of three new outside directors to serve on the company’s board. The three—Carol Blundy, Dale Robertson and Dennis Trinkle—bring with them a broadly diverse combination of skills and experience.

“Carol, Dale and Dennis bring to our board a diversity of thought that is exceedingly valuable as we consider the direction of the company’s continuing growth,” said C/D/H Chairman Keith Dierking. “We are very pleased to have these quality people agree to share with us their talents and experience.”

Carol Blundy is currently a strategic consultant in the professional services industry, exercising her knowledge and experience to the market’s software solution providers in the areas of deployment strategy, product positioning, industry processes and best practices. Prior to consulting, Blundy served as senior director of implementation and consulting for Thomson Elite (a professional services software solution provider) where she directed Elite’s financial and practice management product suite deployment and consulting practices, globally. During this time, she expanded the Elite consulting services team to over 100 professional consultants and industry experts with service revenue growth to over $20 million. Blundy earned her bachelor’s of business administration magna cum laude from Davenport College.

Dale Robertson is the current president and CEO of the Grand Rapids Public museum, responsible for day-to-day operations, chairing the operating board and strategic direction.    Prior to his work with the museum, Robertson served for 19 years in a leadership role with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. During his service there he was led the corporation’s government affairs operations in Lansing and Washington D.C., directed a 300-member team as VP of West Michigan, and developing concepts designed to build market understanding of health, dental, long term care and workers’ compensation products as VP of Innovation and Emerging Markets. Robertson earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from James Madison College, Michigan State University and his Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School.

Dennis Trinkle is the executive officer of IHETS, a consortium of higher education institutions in Indiana dedicated to advancing education, research and public service through offering and coordinating technology and e-learning services. Trinkle joined IHETS from Valparaiso University, where he served as the institution’s inaugural Chief Information Officer and led the creation of a research and emerging technologies group, supervised groupware system upgrades and established the university as a Sun Center of Excellence in addition to countless other IT initiatives. Trinkle earned his bachelor’s cum laude from DePauw University, a master’s with highest distinction from University of Cincinnati, a M.B.A. in technology management from University of Phoenix, and a Ph.D. from University of Cincinnati.

Blundy, Robertson and Trinkle will join current C/D/H directors who include partners Mark Becker, Paul Hillman, Doug Lindhout and chairman of the board Keith Dierking.
